These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and any event registration or service you purchase through it. The website is operated by Twenty Three Seven Communications DMCC (“237 Communications”, “we”, “us”, “our”), a company licensed in the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre free zone, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

By using this website or completing a registration, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About us

237 Communications is an integrated communications agency operating since 2013, with offices in the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Egypt. We provide creative and design, video production, event management, digital innovation and medical content development services across the GCC, Levant, Turkey, North Africa, South Africa, Europe and Southeast Asia.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to purchase from this website. If you are registering on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these terms.

3. Registrations and orders

• Prices and event details displayed on this website are an invitation to register, not a binding offer.
• A contract is formed only when we send you a written confirmation email after your payment has been authorised.
• We may decline or cancel a registration where an event is oversubscribed, where eligibility criteria published for that event are not met, where the price or event details were displayed in error, or where we suspect fraudulent activity. If we do so, we refund any amount paid in full.
• Some events are restricted to healthcare professionals or other defined audiences. Where that applies it is stated on the event page, and we may ask for evidence of eligibility before confirming attendance.

4. Prices and payment

• We operate in both the United Arab Emirates and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Prices are shown in UAE Dirhams (AED) or Saudi Riyals (SAR), depending on the event and the entity invoicing it. The applicable currency is displayed on the event page and again at checkout before you confirm payment.
• Prices are inclusive of Value Added Tax where applicable. VAT is charged at the rate in force in the jurisdiction of the invoicing entity — currently 5% in the United Arab Emirates and 15% in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Payment is taken at the time of registration through our payment service provider, PayTabs. We accept the card schemes displayed at checkout.
• Card details are entered on PayTabs’ secure, PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure. We do not receive or store your full card number, expiry date or security code.
• Your bank may apply foreign exchange or international transaction fees. These are set by your bank and are outside our control.
• A VAT invoice is issued on request to [email protected].

5. Cancellations, refunds and delivery

Cancellation rights, refund entitlements and processing times are set out in full in our Refund Policy. What you receive after purchase and when is set out in our Delivery Policy. Both form part of these terms.

6. Delegate conduct at events

Delegates are expected to behave professionally and to follow the reasonable instructions of our staff and of venue operators, including all health, safety and security requirements. We may refuse entry to, or remove from an event, any person whose conduct is unlawful, threatening, or materially disruptive to other attendees. No refund is due in those circumstances.

Where an event involves scientific or medical content, that content is provided for professional education only. It is not medical advice, does not replace independent clinical judgement, and must not be relied on to diagnose or treat any individual patient.

7. Photography and recording at events

We frequently photograph and film our events for portfolio, editorial and promotional use. By attending you consent to being included in general audience photography and video. If you prefer not to appear, tell a member of the event team on arrival or email us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Delegates may not record, stream or redistribute event content without our prior written permission, and speakers retain all rights in their own presentations.

8. Intellectual property

All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, photography, video, layout, design and software — is owned by 237 Communications or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. You may view and print pages for your own reference. You may not reproduce, republish, distribute, adapt or commercially exploit any part of it without our prior written consent.

Client names, brand names and trade marks shown on this website remain the property of their respective owners and appear solely to identify work we have carried out.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this website to transmit malicious code, to attempt unauthorised access to any part of the site or its infrastructure, to scrape or harvest data by automated means, or to do anything unlawful or that interferes with other users’ access.

10. Third-party links

This website may link to third-party sites. We provide those links for convenience only. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.

11. Availability of the website

We aim to keep this website available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the site for business or operational reasons, including maintenance, without prior notice.

12. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Subject to that, our total liability arising out of or in connection with a registration or the use of this website is limited to the amount you actually paid for the registration or service concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill or anticipated savings.

In particular, and as stated in our Refund Policy, we are not responsible for travel, visa, accommodation or other ancillary costs a delegate incurs in connection with an event.

13. Privacy

Personal data collected through this website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms from time to time. The version published on this page when you complete a registration is the version that applies to that registration. Continued use of the website after a change constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. The courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction, save that we retain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country in which you are resident.
